I’m going on tour - come & see me! * I played a killer set with Paula Darwish & The Country & Eastern Band at last weekend’s Musicport Festival. It was a great festival with a well up for it crowd & I really enjoyed myself. It was my first gig with the Country & Eastern Band - up to now, I’ve just been working with Paula (so far producing a 4 track ep - if you want a copy, EMAIL ME!), but they obviously enjoyed it too as they have asked me to join them on their upcoming ‘Do what you love’ mini tour! We are playing in Manchester, London & Brighton + 1 more date to be announced (scroll to the end of this post to see how you can help with that). It’s not often I get to play in such exotic places & it would be lovely to see some of my Tumblr peeps there :) Please tell all your friends - this is a complete DIY job & we need all the help we can get! Now the bit where you might be able to help: We were scheduled to play in Cambridge on Fri 20th Nov but an unfortunate double booking (on our part) has scuppered our original plan. So, we are looking for a gig anywhere in the Cambridge or London -ish area (we are staying in London so anywhere easily accessible from there). Maybe you know of the perfect night for us to play at or maybe you can help us find an alternative… It doesn’t have to be big or fancy, just somewhere that will draw a crowd so it at least pays for itself - it could be the back room of a pub or even your living room*, we’d just rather play than not play. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated - please email me. *If you’re interested in us playing in your living room, there are 7 of us but we can play acoustically!
