Booker T and the MGs- Green Onions (Live 1967—Version #2) (by creekmorebanks)
RIP Donald ‘Duck’ Dunn, November 24th 1941 - May 13th 2012.
“I tried the guitar but it had two strings too many, it was just too complicated, man! Plus, I grew up with Steve Cropper. There were so many good guitar players another one wasn’t needed. What was needed was a bass.”

Sad loss. The MGs played a great deal of the music that came out of the east coast in the 60s, much like the Funk Brothers (Detroit) and The Wrecking Crew (LA) (there was even a group like that in the UK led by John Paul Jones)
