Shocking Blue - Love Buzz

I confess - I didn’t know Nirvana’s version on Bleach was a cover.

Prime for a cover though, isn’t it?  Shocking Blue were ahead of their time..

Shocking Blue were/still are an under-rated band and Robbie van Leeuwen a very under-rated songwriter.
Check out their albums and the DVD ‘Around The World’ and you’ll find that ‘Venus’, their sole big hit is only scratching the surface.
One of my favourite bands of that era, and singer Mariska Veres was a star and a half.
